The task was to illustrate the sentences “She stood and listened to the wind outside the open window. But it wasn’t just wind she heard. Was that a scream?”I immediatly decided that I wanted to illustrate this in a Tim Burton style. This was one of my first attempts at trying his art style and in my opinion it was very sucessful. The color palette was a little more tricky, I didn’t want the illustartion to read as muddy so I tried to add as many bright cohesive colors as possible. I also decided to illustrated silly things like the paintings being scared.
