he task was to pick a young adult book that we like and to create a book jacket, minus the flaps. I decided to use the book “Dorothy Must Die”. When I was about 11-13 this book series was one of my favoirtes, it takes a kind of dark twist on The Wizard of Oz. In this story Dorothy is the enemny and another human girl from Kansas has to be summoned to save Oz from her, and the only way how is to kill her and her minions. For the color palette I decided to go with mostly green because of the emrald city . I hand lettered all of the type including the blurb on the back cover.
